Status Updates From Superman: The Power Within

The religious story was done so they moved on to a political one!

All about the reaction of a terror attack and how some radicals like to blame and persecute innocent people.

Superman reminds the juvenile’s that America is a ‘nation of immigrants!’ That he is an immigrant himself and his planet was destroyed by terrorists.

His parting words is that he ‘[doesn't] want to lose another world to hatred!’

Somehow, Superman escapes that alternate dimension and was just in time to save Galt from a bullet.

Then the mastermind is revealed to be… Darkseid!
Who gloats that this ‘Holy War’ was just an experiment.

Then before the Man of Steel could stop him, transports the Consortium to the ‘Scream Centers’ of Apokolips!

Frustrated, SM tells the cult to take back their own thoughts and control of their lives.

Clark learns the energy beam originates somewhere in space… and that the cult’s enemies have an army coming!

Mother Tierra leads the Elders into battle.

Determined to find the source of both sides' powers, Superman is blasted then teleported to the strange machine.

With the power source destroyed, the worshippers lose their abilities, though the Consortium goons still have a desire to ‘ace’ them.

The Consortium, made up of powerful businessmen, have pooled their resources to create revolutionary technology.
They are led by Hodge, who believes Superman is the Antichrist!

Clark wants to meet the Elders of the worshipping cult and Galt gladly takes him.

The Consortium follows them all the way through.

Clark meets these Elders and discovers they’re getting their powers from something in space…

I'd seen the Superman stories from Action Comics Weekly had been collected but for some reason, I wanted to read them the hard way….
Well, no more!

I’m also not going to bother with doing separate updates for each two-page story, because that just seems silly.
