Hmm so Renthorn is a prick and Sciona, I have a feeling that she might become more unlikeable.

Not gonna lie, it’s a struggling trying to picture how the magic system works in this world. So, I understand why the author had to make all these metaphors to describe them in layman’s. I don’t find myself being a fan of this magic system in particular but I think I understand it enough. Also, Kwen experiencing racism and discrimination is really in par with Sciona just being a woman. I see the parallels.

Not really a fantasy reader unless it’s has historical elements. This has been compared to RF Kuang’s Babel which was really good so let’s see
