Actually, I take back the "clearly disappear" part, because the last page with Subaru and the buildings has a gazillion cherry blossoms scattering in the wind. Representative of Seishirou's impact on Subaru's psyche? Or a sign that Seishirou is still lurking, watching?

Tenth: I'm still not sure why Hokuto sacrificing herself means Seishirou doesn't have to kill Subaru, but I GUESS I can see the logic there? Subaru's hands don't seem to be tagged at the end, but who knows. But THAT RIGHT THERE shows Seishirou's not completely gung-ho to kill Subaru.
He does clearly disappear after that though. So mysterious, Seishirou. You can finish TB wondering if he never showed up again.

Seventh: "Where else on earth do so many people enjoy their descent into destruction?" Tokyo, or CLAMP stories?
Eighth: I love Seishirou being all, "I gave myself a year to love you... BUT I DON'T HAHAHA." Riiight. Riiiiight.
Ninth: It ends ambiguously (not counting X) which is nice.
Just the shot of Subaru walking through Tokyo. Everything's going to be eternal shit for Subaru, basically.

Fifth: Other than the smoking, Subaru is pretty much the same, only gloomier! His way of dealing with the mother is still the same as it would've been at the start of the series.
Sixth: I love ending with the ghost girl saying, "People who do bad things are just lonely." Definitely not true, but in terms of the story it manages to tie all the individual stories together.
