So fair the writing is very sumptuous in a way I love especially after some of the books I have read recently.

Its totally fine that several male characters are fondled by an old lady and deeply uncomfortable about it for absoltuley no plot reasons because it was written in 2005 and its funny ha ha I am so bored I'm thinking of DNFing

I'm so disappointed this isn't like the Tangleroot Palace, but it's good for a first novel and by the way it's going I'm assuming it is 😮‍💨

the romances is putting me to sleep but the prose still surprises me every once in a while so

I'm enjoying the plot but not the romance and it has come to my attention that I may be a *checks notes* red flag girlie

Oh no, its feeling like debut book syndrome 😭😭😭 it's chapter 2 and they've already kissed.

Immediately reading more Marjorie Lui even if its looking like a harlequin shifter romance T_T
