It’s alright. Not great. It’s a little jarring how different Tess’s character comes across from her audiobook narrator, vs. how the male narrator speaks for her in Ryan’s chapters. I literally had to stop listening and come write this update when Tess said she “didn’t need” a safe word, but she told Ryan to have one. That irked me. Also, I’m bored of the sea turtle subplot.
