This memoir is so engaging. Drew me in from the first page! It’s even more special that I met the author in Nov last year!

i don't know when anything is happening in this book. it's sad though how much he was made to feel ashamed of his deafness growing up.

still more focused on family history, a bit about learning he was deaf and getting his first hearing aids in this chapter. (he can hear some frequencies so they didn't realize when he was a baby)

some of the family history was rather hard to follow.
