Status Updates From Three Parties

Firas has been a bit insufferable as a narrator so far, but the scene in the past chapter (8) between he and Kashif was very heartening. There was a level of tenderness and care that has been behind the scenes until it becomes apparent in this scene, and this chapter is the first point where I truly want to finish this book now. It’s been a bit tedious up until now, but it is finally arriving at a plotworthy point.
