Status Updates From Strange Pictures

I just found out that the part I’m reading now is the story behind the first part. I thought it was an anthology. I wish I knew before, because part of what’s been keeping me from reading this is that I learned nothing from the first part and it felt like a let-down. I also would’ve done a better job remembering the first part if I knew. But it does make me like it a little more!
