This is going to be my next obsession

Mikale is tied to the fae continent. He’s responsible or at least part of the children of fae origin disappearing from the syndicate to “restore a kings throne”. He has claimed Scarlett in some way that his brother (who they catch at the dock) respects.

I’m unfortunately getting kind of impatient. The back and forth was well paced for a good while. But I just feel we’re wasting so much time. So many interesting things are happening, but all overshadowed by this dragging “who will crack first” thing. I know that once everything comes out it’ll be wonderful again. But we still haven’t /started/ the “journey” this story is revolved around.

I can tell that I will like this book very much already now! 😍
