Status Updates From Pride and Modern Prejudice

I’m just starting this one, but I hope they smash.

Finished chapter four.
Modern re-telling of Pride and Prejudice, with an all-male twist.

This is really great, but . . .the fade to black??? Couldn't we have a touch more in that scene, we've been so patient, after all . . . :P

I am a BIG Pride and Prejudice fan. I was recently daydreaming of writing my own version--with an MM romantic twist--and imagine my frustration when I see it is already written?

Times that by a hundred when I read just how DAMN WELL WRITTEN it is.

Seriously, this book is SO GOOD.

Any slow burn lovers out there, you're gonna wanna add this to your must-read list.

Ouch, so far zero spark between Liam and Darcy :(

It's nice and fun. The second part slightly differentiates from the original, so there are a couple twists that I didn't see coming.

Ok, I think this can go 2 ways: It's either quite sweet and fun (if it doesn't take itself too seriously) or it's awful... let's hope it's not the latter...

five more chapters in and it's not any better yet. *sigh*

3 1/2 chapters in and I am very bored...I really hope it gets better.
