Status Updates From The Macabre

enjoying this after book got off to a slow, YA-coded start (and I don’t say that as a knock against YA, I love YA). Book cover, as much as I love it, really missed the heart of this book and feels like a marketing miss because I *guess* this book’s content is horror-ish but in its heart of hearts wants to be young adult fantasy (or new adult solely so the MCs can travel with no questions asked).
