This is dumb. There is no way the attorney wouldn't have planned out the entire trial. Why would she be talking to her investigator and asking for his opinion during the trial!? It's ridiculous.

I've never had a villain conversation before. I've had a villain soliloquy before but revealing so much through a back-and-forth dialogue is quite fascinating

The fat phobia in this book is what is disgusting. Every single character seems to hate fat people. I'm guessing that this reflects the authors beliefs. It's a bit disappointing, but all too common
