Status Updates From The Works of Vermin

This book is incredible I wish I wasn't suffering through my year long reading slump so I could enjoy it more.....

may have to soft dnf

I want to like this book sooo badly but it feels like the plot has barely moved. I'm either confused or just bored. Like, we get it, perfume in this world has semi-magical powers. You don't need to remind me every 5 pages.

Oh, okay. That's him, then. I feel like I should've figured that out sooner.

Okay, I know who Mal is - the hints aren't subtle - I have my suspicions about Dawn, I'm not sure about Guy.

wow wow wow wow wow.

wow and now the title just makes sense

this means i literally need to reread this book over again knowing who is who now, i KNEW this was gonna be that kind of book, rewind the tapes i literally said this is a book that's gonna hit if you read it more than once !!!! i'm gagged rn like fully

wait wait WAIT a fucking second...... Tyro is actually the stranger to town in Aster's timeline ?!?!?!?!!!! this ENTIRE time i've been reading events that DON'T take place at the same time ?!!! omg do you know what this MEANS !!!!! it means tyro grew up and actually transitioned, and escaped to live this greater life ?? i feel so stupid i should have been able to guess this wayyy sooner but it's just now clicking !!

Dawn, your jealousy's showing.

it's going down (for real)
