Status Updates From Articulate: A Deaf Memoir o...

Beginning this book today! My friend Samuel recommended this to me because he is good friends and grew up with the author, Rachel Kolb. She is doing a book talk at Georgetown University this week which has inspired me to move this book further up my already extensive want to read list. She also has a TedTalk, but share for my friends who are interested in learning more about Deaf culture and experiences!

I’m really enjoying this memoir of a deaf woman’s journey and she’s a New Mexican! We have a large deaf community due to the extensive services and schools we have here in Santa Fe and where Kolb was raised, Albuquerque.
