There's a certain tackiness about it that just doesn't sit well.

Wait, she shows up with some guy that she wouldn't say a word about to Dair, but then demands he tell her where he planned to go? I would kick that chick to the curb SO fast... Iris started to annoy me from the first book, but I kind of liked Dair. Now, he clearly turns into a brain-dead idiot every time she's around. He questions all her actions when she's gone, but acts like a lovesick teen the moment she reappears

I don't like that heroine - like, at all. Iris is keeping secrets yet at the same time demanding things from Dair the first moment they meet. And then she basically tells him she's been stalking him for a while now instead of getting back in touch. Coupled with the fact that Dair knew next to nothing about that woman when she up and left him weeks ago, I would steer clear of that creeper!

I didn't like the prequel that much but let's see how this goes...
