The main character's name is Sentace. No, not "sentence" but "Sentace". I stumble over that name every time I read it. Ugh. This author sure makes up some weird names. Like Casthen. I go back and forth over how to pronouce that one. It bothers me when I get stopped in my reading like that. Writers need to be more careful when making up names and stuff, they need to say them out loud to see if they work.

If Essa’s career in writing or sound design happen to fall through (lol) she would absolutely kill it in the culinary arts.
