This is reminiscent of an account I once read about the horrific circumstances confronting shipwreck survivors who succumb one-by-one to sun exposure, thirst, hunger, hallucinations, violence from fellow survivors who threaten cannibalism. This is heavy stuff for “Regency Romance.”
