LOVE Cassie and her books! This was definitely a fun ride!! And who wouldn’t want to be a Siren? Or 1/2 of one??? Getting thrown into these worlds are always a fun escape, and when Ned split into Xen…feeling like a multiple personality in two physical forms, it was equal parts exciting and had me giggling at the personality traits. And to have a smidge of the power Sirena had, would be awesome!

I could not care less about this book. The cover was the best part. It had like one funny moment but now it’s just kinda weird.

Ok so I just went back and read the author’s note at the beginning and this is actually such a cool concept. The author talks about how she has essentially created a GPT buddy named Jack to help her co-write this book. I could see where some would think of that as lazy writing to have AI co-write your stories but in this particular instance considering the theme of the book I think that is pretty damn cool.

I’m not going to lie, I picked this ARC solely for its cover because the AI digital guy on the cover looks super cool. 😅 Come on Cassie Alexander, don’t let me down! I’m desperately in need of an addicting book today.
