I’m really disappointed that there’s only one long extra in this book and it’s just an AU that isn’t nearly as good as how Gu Mang and Mo Xi actually met in cannon. If I wasn’t concerned about missing out on something I’d probably just call it quits, ignore this extra and be content with the main story 😕

I finally finished the main story! I’m so happy with how it ended ☺️ I only wish that my reading experience hadn’t been interrupted by the unfortunate events going on in my personal life. I feel like I would have enjoyed the story more if I hadn’t been derailed from reading it for several months, and on the final volume too 😭 Well, onto the extras!

Tell me why I can’t have this entire AU as another 7 volumes!? I’d read their love story again and again.

This alternate beginning was so well written, it had such intrigue and so many moments where you think you know something and then SURPRISE not quite diva!!

Reading the afterword and seeing Meatbun doesnt believe this is her best work hurts, and felt as though she didn’t grasp the characters hurts my soul

I did not have a magically genderbent Gu Mang on my bingo card but just know I was not disappointed!

Them having a different first meeting really has changed the course of their friendship/relationship and Im highkey obsessed with it - give me confident and (more) respected Gu Mang any day divas
