which i just noticed is a lot longer (over 100 pages longer than the book before it).

i really hope my heart isn't shattered into too many pieces during this one. between montana's pov in the epilogue of Lost in Amber and this starting out with Reaper's pov... oh boy, i'm a little afraid.

Fuck if Henry's genuine hope and real heartbreak doesn't make me cry every time his feelings are hurt. Montana fucking sucks, even if his heartbreak over his dead mate makes me cry aswell.
Henry is so lost in a strange world he doesn't understand and I can relate to the longing for home and feeling like you don't fit and you don't belong anywhere.

Y'all I am TWO WORDS IN and one of those words is Prologue but I'm already tearing up. Starting the book with a flashback from the PoV of Reaper? The dead husband? That is CRUEL, Maz Maddox! How dare! But I'll forgive it as long as Montana is happy again by the end of the book.
