Status Updates From Runs in the Blood

Animal cruelty in the third story 😔

This authors really good at depicting the emotions of the characters. They’re really good at portraying uncomfortable situations to the point that the reader feels personally unsettled. All these stories could be filled with blown novels. It’s bittersweet that they’re all short stories

This second story was short but sweet. A flurry of emotions from the protagonist and descriptive language that really lets everything be felt. One of the more immersive reads I’ve had in recent years. It also impressively had a bit of a shock factor within it but not distasteful at all. A heartwarming and insightful ten page read

A very strange an eerie first story that thoroughly captivated me, I’ll be looking forward to what’s to come in this series of tales
