Cassandra: not rating poetry but I liked this one. A woman is having a conversation-of-sorts with one of her sons after being killed by the other. Time is non linear.

Men with Tails: 2* Simi is a forty-ish y.o. woman whose husband Dead died a year ago. Simi thinks he is still there, there are noise in his room and she sees a weird creature at night. She has a mental breakdown at the end? Her mother proposes going on vacation once she is better.

Kaiju Agonistes: 3* Seed-planters (aliens) sent a watchseed to lay dormant on Earth until the first nuclear event (1946-ish). Messenger grows, the russians pretend to have it under control. It sustains damage from the US, disappears to reconstruct, returns twice before trying to talk to humans. A woman from New York proposes it involves itself with money. Nixon finally joins in in 1984.

Six People to Revise You: 3* Liz needs 6 people to fill out forms about her to get throught Revisions (I'm not clear on what that is, somehow physical and mental changes to someone). She asks her mother, two fellow teachers, a long-time friend and an estranged acquaintance. She can't get herself to ask her partner Sadie. At the end, realizes she doesn't need to change.

For Whom the Hair Grows: 4* The granddaughter of a witch climbs the ever-growing tower where the witch imprisoned a princess long, long ago using the braided hair of the princess. She promised her grandmother she would break the curse, so can enter the tower because of her love for her grandmother. Very touching. I would have taken a few more lines at the end (is the princess still alive?)
