Loving it so far. It’s a bit less clear than some of his earlier academic works, with a few sentences that feel overly long or verbose. It may be that age is starting to affect his clarity a little. Other than that, it’s probably the best systematic treatment of the Christian doctrine of faith and revelation that I’ve come across.

really appreciated be distinction between what scriptures teaches about the doctrine of scripture (which at first seems circular), versus what epistemic justification we have for believing in scripture. one is a matter of systematic theology, and the other is an apologetical question. but if you already take scripture to be authoritative of course you want to know what it teaches about itself! so eye opening!
