The book is cool and has way more characters introduced and I enjoy all the action. For the most part the main Nnewt is weak but I think it will become stronger.

I just finished the book but my predictions were kinda right. I got the part where he starts hunting the son right.and also the wizard that planned to attack on the village kidnapped the main characters sister.

the book is cool and I think that one of the side characters is going to die the main character is kinda scared to do things.

its cool so far I like the action in the book that they put.

the reading is going good its getting pretty intreasting.the main character got powers but only for a little bit and I thought it was pretty cool.and i predict his dad Which turned into lizard is gonna find him in the village because it just showed that he was close.

I am enjoying reading this book because its very fun and interesting.and an other thing I like about this book is the storytelling because the way the hunters got lured away from the village so the lizards could attack was just an amazing way to show the action part of this book.and right now its pretty intreating because one of the best hunters got turned into a lizard by a wizard and now he's forced to hunt his kid

Saw this at the library and started reading it to Gannicus at bed time. He finds the hijinks of the Nnewts hilarious and loves the magic explosions.

Hmmm. This is odd. It's too dark & violent for most kids, but too child-centric for most teens. As an adult I really like it (esp. since I read it as a webcomic way back when and TenNapel changed a LOT for the print edition to his credit), but I'm not sure I'd loan it to anyone under....13 maybe?

The title was Nnewts Escape from the Lizzarks. It is significant because it already tells us the antagonist is the Lizzarks. It relates to the protagonist because it tells us that the Nnewts are them. It also in some way told us that the story is about escaping the Lizzarks.
