Status Updates From Fire of Fates: Ashes of Bet...

I am having a really hard time getting into this book. There is very little dialogue and a lot of repetitive descriptions of all that "weighs on" the MMC and FMC. I feel like I was dropped into the middle of Onyx Storm but if all the characters were just depressed and felt alone and scared.

I cannot put this down! The author really knows how to pull at your heart 😳 she’s not afraid of killing off important characters! Absolutely brutal.

I am loving the details with each different faction of how they honour their dead and how each of their ceremonies differ.

“The other dragons present lifted their heads and unleashed their own streams of flame into the air in a final, fiery salute to the fallen Commander.” 😭😭 this got me right in the feels!

Holy shit! Only 33% In and my heart is in my mouth!
The death and destruction is intense.
And who is this new stranger…. There is definitely more than meats the eye but is it darkness or desire 🫣

5 chapters in and i love how I’ve been thrown straight into it all!
The tension is already brewing and I cannot wait to see it unfold 🤩
