the most unrealistic thing I’ve ever heard is them going 20 years without seeing each other despite them both living in kc. I go outside one day in kc and run into no less than four different people from entirely different decades in my life.

Also I hate to say it but adib’s writing style here isn’t entirely my thing it’s a lot of immediate physical character descriptions in depth when anyone gets introduced which makes it sound clunky and a bit like how I used to write in high school

I take it back maybe I don’t want kc rep in books this feels a little too real it’s hard to get the escapism I want out of it
