Status Updates From Shrapnel Boys

We are wanting to enjoy this, but there are only so many times that the story line of Johnny doing something rotten and Ronnie denouncing him to his mum who then ignores him and takes Johnny’s side can work. We’ve looped through this plot device about five times already, is the story actually going to move on at all?
