Like I was telling Grace - one of my least favorite tropes in books is when one of the characters “sees” or “overhears” something but doesn’t have the full context so they misinterpret what’s actually going on. So instead of being a grown adult and talking through it they just immediately are like “nah let’s do the silent treatment” it’s SO ANNOYING
