Fantastic so far!

This novella is giving me all the Event Horizon vibes, but we following Vatican Space Force Marines. The author did warn me of the religious themes of this story. I was thinking undertones but no it truly is religious with lots of catholic references. I am not religious so this book is putting me out of my comfort zone. I am curious where this will go. It's so far a well-written story.
