I so do not like how we flip flop between the now and the past and not knowing when it happens. It disrupts the flow of the reading immensely.

Tried to be a dark romance with sub & dom, but it didn’t really work. Not enough character development or relationship development. Even the spice was weird, they were having boring conversation while knotting? I enjoyed the first book in the series and actually thought this was written by someone else.
