I really love Lucinda Riley, each and every single one of her books gets me so invested. But her characters are not true to life. The perfect ones are too perfect, too nice, too intelligent. The evil ones are pure evil. The young ones speak as if they were 20 years older; kids speak like adults. The men are too good to be true.

Not to mention that her characters change opinions from one second to the next
