This review is gonna be so unfair bc I HATE multiple pov short story books so much

I don’t want this book to end.

I’m growing tired of utopian fiction about the Global South that reads as pretentious, leaning rather than authentic.

I’m unclear what Osunde is aiming for here.There were many opportunities to engage meaningfully with systemic issues,to imagine an ideal without exaggeration. The performance here flattens what could have been deemed necessary.

This has been a slog to get through. I hope I finish this.🫠
