I asked for more and it was provided 🙏 this chapter had me locked in. She starts with a much more personal touch, which i feel works really well here. I also fully agree with the points she made in this essay, and its refreshing to see a feeling I have felt quite strongly before be put into words. My hope has been restored for this book

Like this author, one of my favorite types of writing is creative non-fiction essays. This chapter's essay was a review of a documentary i have never heard of, and it is written like a thesis. We are on page 69. She started off on topic, but its been 50 pages of talking about the essay format, her personal privilege, and now a documentary. I was charged $32 for this book and am begging for something more from it

I am 50 pages in and the author is still talking about how she is a white middle-class woman who feels conflicted about writing about homelessness. Then she writes about feeling conflicted about mentioning that she feels conflicted. I get where she is coming from to a degree and she kind of has a point but oh my gos. Just cut it all and get to the point please.
