Some really nice potato poems.
But I am really confused, upset, as to why the editors decided to start this poetry collection in the year 2025 with a poem by Isreali zionist poet Yehuda Amichai. Regardless of the quality of the poem, it set the tone for the entire collection and it is on my mind with every poem I've read so far. It is clearly a statement, but I'm hoping (maybe naively) that I'm missing the point.

So far, “Green Chile” by Jimmy Santiago Baca and “The Raspberry Room” by Karin Gottshall are my favorites.
