This got really, really dark. I half-expect Kabuto mushi to pop up and entice the kids to pilot this really cool mecha.

So...Haruka is so utterly exhausted that he can barely swim. But Natsuya still makes him swim the 100 meters race.
The boy is doing all he can to keep afloat and not drown!
Where are the adults in this?!
Again, I can see why Iawatobi's high school division did not even have a swim club when Haru and co. got there. Everyone was too traumatized from middle school.

Shouta also has serious problems and once again, the blame falls on Haruka.
No, the problem is the absent adults who have allowed the club to become gaslighting galore.
If you have a kind of event that was borderline banned as it ended with several people leaving the club altogether, you have a problem.
I can see why Iwatobe's high school did not even a swimming club: everyone was too scarred from middle school.

This only occurred to me just now but is there anyone on duty to rescue someone in case something happens on the pool?
There are no adults present. I suppose Natsuya, who seems to spend a lot of time lording over everyone, can play lifeguard if needed but the potential for disaster is most definitely there.
The basketball club had an advisor, an actual PE teacher but the Swim Club is Teen Dystopia.

Ngl, these "club activities" veer on bullying. Why humiliate Asahi like this, making him swim freestyle with the second years when he already told you he can't swim freestyle at the moment?
Ikuya already apologized for belittling the almighty club but that's apparently not enough. He wasn't just shooting debris with his classmates, too. But being the club captain's little brother, he has to suffer.

Ikuya has obvious anger issues...again, no adults intervene. The only people who seem to be worried about it are his big brother who is the 9th grade and his friend who is also in the 7th grade. Yeah.
