Kinda lost, first line is saying they love november, then next paragraph implies halloween is near? So is it October or November?

The story itself is interesting, but then there will be a cringe moment and I hate myself. I have to put it down. The writing is so juvenile.

The whole book so far can be summed up with a repeating cycle of Petra warms up → something interrupts → Petra runs → Sin pleads → repeat.

I am not going to lie. I had major beef with this story the first few chapters, but I'm glad I stuck it out. The writing was very immature the first few chapters, but then it switched back to the Veronica Lancet I know and love from Fairydale. Excited to see where it goes.
