Really loving this so far. Each story has been well done & clear why it was selected as part of this anthology, but my favorites so far are:
*”Also, the Cat” by Rachel Swirsky
*”The Weight of Your Own Ashes” by Carlie St. George

Will update with more favorites as I read on!

3 stories in, this edition so far is 2/5.
The Audit is not SF nor fantasy!! and not good enough to justify its inclusion. A not-genre story should not be in a genre compilation, period. “Also, the Cat” is boring, not funny, and too long. The experimental opener “We Will Teach you how to Read” is an interesting play on form, but lacks narrative substance. I hope Okorafor’s picks improve from here.
