Status Updates From Ice (Poseidon's Girls, #1)

This book is awful. The author knows how to write a sentence very well. She is very descriptive and can really write analogies. Unfortunately when you string those sentences together, it doesn’t always make sense. The mistakes in the first few chapters only tells me the rest of the book will be even worse.

REALLY hard to finish... Blech

There's a redundancy to this book. It's a little obnoxious. Melodramatic, and just odd. I don't think I'll be continuing through this series, unfortunately, despite the fact that it has mermaids in it

I feel like Watson is trying to hard. There are WAY too many descriptions and they are a little much. The story doesn't flow effortlessly, it feels forced and it's making it difficult to read. Both of them are a little over the top with their theatrics to the point where it's almost unbelievable. I'll give it to 30%, but it looks like this book will be #2 in my "way too boring to read" list
