I’m so glad that I’m finally done with this book! I’m not very satisfied with how it ended though. I’ll go into more details about my thoughts about the book in my review!

Well, that chapter was kind of stupid in my opinion. No spoilers, but it introduced some lore that wasn’t spoken about in A Kind of Spark. Honestly, this entire book has so many befuddling elements. I don’t think my opinions are about to change after I read the last chapter of this book.

This was quite the interesting chapter. I liked seeing Keedie’s relationship with her great grandmother Astrid, but I don’t like how her conversation with Nina was handled as much. I’m looking forward to seeing how the story ends!

This chapter wasn’t as notable in my opinion. What can I really say here without spoiling it? I guess I’m looking forward to finishing this book.

Wow. For once, this wasn’t a bad chapter! I liked seeing Keedie’s relationship with her dad grow. It was sweet to see that. Hopefully, this is a sign that the story is getting better.

That chapter was flat-out unbelievable! Not in a “Wow, what a powerful and deep chapter!” Sort of way. It’s in a, “Wow, I literally cannot believe the events that are taking place right now!” Way. I can’t say too much because it’s a spoiler. But I will say that I feel bad for Keedie. Many things have happened where it’s been unfair to her. Hopefully, she’ll be treated better in the next chapter.

Wow, that was another wild chapter! No spoilers, but that was gut wrenching. I kept wondering where the dad was the entire time, and why he didn’t intervene. As I said earlier, I’m not looking forward to seeing how the plot develops.

Alright, as you could probably tell by my lower rating of this book, I’m still very confused. For reference, I rated it 3 stars before, but I took it down to 2 stars yesterday. Throughout my entire reading experience, there has just been a series of baffling events. The only thing I liked about this chapter was seeing Keedie and Addie’s relationship. I’m not looking forward to seeing what happens next.

All right, no spoilers, but I’m confused. To summarize, a lot of stuff happened in this chapter that doesn’t make sense or was unrealistic. I don’t know if this sense of confusion was intentional by the author or not. If it wasn’t, this chapter just added more inconsistencies to the plot. Sadly, I don’t have faith the story will make more sense anytime soon. I’m nervous to see what happens next.

This was another tense chapter. It’s interesting yet also sad to see Keedie and Nina’s relationship crumbling. I’m intrigued to see what happens next.

Wow. No spoilers, but that chapter was WILD! Honestly, I’m a bit baffled by some of the things that happened. Keedie was certainly bold here. I’m anxious to see what happens next.

This chapter was intriguing to read about, I liked learning about how Addie’s special interest in sharks developed. Likewise, I enjoyed getting to know some of the other family members in this piece. I’ll be interested in seeing how the story progresses!

This was quite the interesting chapter! I’m not going to give any spoilers, but there were a lot of things that happened relating to Keedie‘s anti-bullying agency that did not make sense. Particularly, with the character’s reactions. Hopefully, the plot will start to make more sense as I start reading it.

I have many thoughts about this, but they’d probably be in spoiled territory. What I can say is that I’m intrigued about where Keedie’s anti-bullying ventures is going. I also didn’t feel like we got to see much from Angel, so I’m interested in getting to know her character more.
All in all, I’m interested in seeing how the story continues!

This book is getting pretty interesting! I like how we’re getting more context into what Keedie’s dynamic with Bonnie is like, they’re very close within the story. However, no spoilers, but this does foreshadow some… unfortunate events that take place in A Kind of Spark. I also felt Angel left a good impression. Keedie was astonished to meet another autistic girl. I’m interested to see where the story goes!
