If this leans more My Heart is a Chainsaw and less The Buffalo Hunter Hunter then I may dnf it, but I'll give it to 50%. I'm always unsure with SGJ because sometimes his writing is incredible and other times it's hard to read... lol fingers crossed I'm reminded of my favorite The Buffalo Hunter Hunter! Or even I Was a Teenaged Slasher, which I also loved.

Lewis’s paranoia goes onto Shaney. The idea that she may be this elk head woman. disguised as a human. His fear and paranoia finally take over, and he kills her.
The disturbing part is that it leaves you questioning whether Lewis actually killed the supernatural entity or whether he murdered an innocent woman because his guilt and paranoia drove him to believe she was the monster.
