Mmmm…no vines or trees on crawlers ledge to grab like the book says the FMC used. It’s pure rock going up and pure rock going down to waves crashing on stone and an 18” ledge to creep along with nothing to hold onto. Oh my goodness I’m loving this! Having backpacked the Kalalau trail years ago before it was exploited on social media, I can say I am so curious how this next half of the book is going to go. This was just the story I needed in the midst of a crazy time in life. Great escape reading.
