I can't read this book. the plot became ridiculous. I'm just skimming toward the end now. Wasted potential

See, when it's the torture scenes she's so strong an brave and it's interesting to read. The whole book could have been this.

Anyway. The main characters thoughts are so fucking irritating this might end up being a DNF. I don't give a fuck about anything. Why is the world like this? Why is Abbey still so naive if she just endured months of torture? I mean seriously. Give me more details. Give me more of how she was tortured. Otherwise I don't care.

I hate not knowing what page I'm actually on. This damn Ebook just said "139 of 447" but the book is only 292 pages long. Like how am I supposed to make sense of this shit? Guess?

The first few chapters were so excited and now I'm so bored.

Also she keeps talking about how horrific her life has been the last three months but we didn't get a long enough look at just how bad it had been. What we did get was absolutely awful, sure. But I'm not invested enough in the character.

I'm real sick of her talking to herself out loud lol

This book is so fucked up and I love it. I don't know what that has to say about me.
