I read this for a few hours two nights ago cuz I couldn’t stop!
I am so freaking angry with Mya and Eli. It’s such bullshot, Finley never asked for them to cover up a manslaughter. And they’re making it out like it’s all her fault!

This is my current read of the situation –

Finley: Wow I feel terrible about pushing that guy down the stairs :(!!
Mya: Don’t worry, Finny! I’ll get Eli to beat him to death for you. This is your fault, by the way, I did this for you.

Mya manipulating Finley is crazy and reading it gives me such an ick! (In a good way)

I think I would be happy if Ms Alvarez write as many of these YA thrillers as she could. Reading them makes me want to write my own thriller, AGH! So happy my new LOCAL BOOKSTORE(‼️) ordered this in only ten days!
