Also, is it just me, or is the general plot of this book "Elizabeth Hunter's 'Grit' but with shifters"? Don't get me wrong, I'm all good if it is, but that's the vibe I'm getting right now.

OK, I can't remember whether this is one of CE Murphy's shifter pseudonyms, or whether she just highly recommended the book to her community.
Either way, I'm currently lurghed and have zero brain available for processing anything complex, so I figured it's ideal for my current brainstate.
