3rd Essay - Toyin Ojih Odutola’s Visions of Power
Another essay of her down, another one I fell in love with. This one follows the depiction of her friend’s art series. In the Art series, it follows a group from Africa where the rolls were reversed with salvery. Women were the masters and robotic men were the slaves. Very interesting read to see the rolls reversed and learning that most don’t want to that.

2nd Essay - The Muse at Her Easel
Holy shit… this is one of the best things i’ve ever read. The dissection of late 90’s art and what it meant to be a muse vs. painter was so beautiful to read. Smith goes over what Celia Paul went through out her “musedom” with late artist Lucien Freud. Man was he a piece of WORK.
