Status Updates From The Girl with All the Gifts

I remember loving this book so, so much. On a whim, I decided to read it again (actually - I'm listening to the fabulous audiobook). I am perfectly smitten all over again. The figurative language the author uses (similes, in particular), are like nothing I've ever heard before. I love Melanie's innocent point of view. I love the mythological and Biblical allusions. Truly enjoying this reread.
