Fall re-read of this series, I never fully finished it before (shocker) despite it being good. Very historically rooted and immaculately written. Takes longer to read because of it.

Finally, I'm done

Good Gawd, I can't believe she's still talking about this. She’s been betrothed since the start, and she’s still vacillating back and forth. This book is SO boring.

listen, I know I'm almost at the end but holy shit, Isla started becoming such a lovesick amoeba it's insufferable, Rowena is suddenly ONLY a mean girl, like, this book had depth??? what happened??????
