Status Updates From The Alex Crow

It is absolutely uncanny how this book has been on my TBR for TEN YEARS and when I finally got around to it feels like to perfect time in my life to read it.

This book is nuts and I’m loving it. I have no idea how Smith comes up with these stories. They are so off-the-wall, but somehow grounded and most importantly, for these types of stories, they make sense. It’s like a calculus problem in how everything lines up perfectly when at first it looks a mess. I’m haven’t finished yet, but I trust him and know he’ll bring it home in the end.

Just read the chapter titled Sock Puppet Jesus and I haven’t laughed so hard in a while. It’s silly and I love it, but the people sitting next to me at the airport must think I’m crazy now.
