taking my time with this one, just read through this fabulous dinner scene, i feel compelled to call it “THE dinner scene,” for its relevance was immediately apparent.
i’m especially liking the way Woolf takes the reader into each of the character’s thoughts. it’s done masterfully and seamlessly (two of the best ways to do something). her writing is such a window into the soul.
