reading again bc UGH i love it so much

I witnessed a true collapse. Solid 4 stars up until halfway and then just absolutely not. It’s like the author forgot the whole first half’s plot and put together some melodramatic yet flat af second half where the characters weren’t even the same. And there was no more buildup or even a third act conflict or anything like it was 50% of literal nothing and just them suddenly loving each other soo much. 1.5 star

This should’ve ended at the 46% mark bc it’s just so stretched out like it’s just them suddenly being all obsessed with each other in a way that feels too dramatic maybe? Can’t really explain it but yeah I just feel like the rest is all so pointless except I’m sure there’s gonna be some inevitable third act conflict just to spice things up but it just feels so damn pointless like where’s the buildup

I’m enjoying this but why are they already together and have been by like 40% in 😬 that worries me tbh bc how are they in a relationship practically when I’m only like halfway done lol like does that mean it’s either gonna be too stretched out and too long or is there gonna be some annoying ass conflict or both? Like i dont know what else there could possibly be lol but we’ll see bc their tension was great
